Thomas Garnier is a Sustainable Finance specialist in charge of advising Natixis CIB Clients and originating & structuring Sustainable Finance solutions for EMEA across a wide variety of green, social & sustainability themed opportunities in close partnership with Natixis CIB’s Investment Banking teams.
Prior to joining the Green & Sustainable Hub at its inception Thomas was part of Natixis MTN trading desk and sell-side analyst dedicated to Green Bond Market Research within Natixis CIB’s EMEA Global Markets activities. Previously Thomas held various finance positions including as part of AXA Cash Management activities and Exane Financial Engineering teams.
Thomas holds a Master in the field of Corporate Finance & Financial Engineering.
Anne-Claire Lejeune has been appointed as a cross-asset originator in the Green & Sustainable Hub where she focuses on the origination and structuration of green & sustainable financing solutions for the Corporate and Investment Banking clients.
Prior to joining the Green & Sustainable Hub, Anne-Claire was the Green Captain of the Natixis Corporate Portfolio Management’s department. Beyond her 3 years’ experience as a credit analyst and portfolio manager, she acted as an ambassador for green, social and sustainability opportunities for the Coverage.
Anne-Claire joined Natixis in 2014 in the CIB EMEA Platform’s business management team. She holds a degree in Corporate Finance from Neoma Business School and studied at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology as an exchange student.
Clement has been appointed as cross-asset originator in the Green & Sustainable Hub in 2021. He focuses on the origination and structuring of green & sustainable financing solutions for Natixis CIB clients.
Prior to joining the Green & Sustainable Hub, Clement was a material engineer specialized in eco-design & sustainable development issues. He participated in various missions related to the development of projects more respectful of the environment at Safran Ceramics and CEA.
He holds a double degree from Grenoble INP Phelma and ESSEC Business School in Corporate Finance.
Laura Payet brings with her over 10 years of experience in BPCE Group. She joined Natixis Green and Sustainable Hub as a cross-asset originator in October 2022.
Previously, Laura worked as an expert in Natixis Energy Industry Group over the past four years. She was originating and structuring debt and equity financing/advisory solutions to clients of this sector in close partnership with Natixis Investment Banking teams. She is notably member of the selection committee of the index H40 promoting French start-ups in the Hydrogen sector. Formerly, she spent five years at the General Inspection of BPCE, auditing retail banks and Natixis business lines.
Laura is also a board member of Natixis Foundation and Treasurer of WINN association promoting diversity and inclusion.
Laura is graduated in Finance from Dauphine University and also holds an Advanced Master in Financial Techniques from ESSEC.
Brigitte joined the Green & Sustainable Hub as cross-asset originator in February 2022, focusing on the origination and structuring of green & sustainable financing solutions for Natixis Corporate and Investment Banking clients.
Brigitte brings over 20 years of expertise in corporate finance and loan syndication in both corporate and commodities sectors, with a focus on agri-business and biofuels during her time with the Energy & Natural Resources division. In addition to her previous role of Corporate Loan Structurer, over a 4-year period she also acted as ambassador for green, social and sustainability opportunities for the Acquisition & Strategic Finance department. Brigitte previously worked as a Relationship Manager within Natixis and Societe Generale, where she started her career as a credit risk analyst.
Brigitte holds a Master of Research degree in Management and an MSC in Finance from the Strasbourg University - UNISTRA.
Adrian has been appointed as a cross-asset originator in Corporate & Investment Banking’s Green & Sustainable Hub in 2022. He acts in an advisory structuring capacity for all green and sustainable financing and advisory solutions provided to CIB’s EMEA clients.
After an initial professional experience in the energy sector (oil & gas, nuclear, utilities) with successive roles in financial communication & investors relation and strategy departments, he worked in a strategy consulting firm as a consultant to advise a variety of clients – private equity funds, asset managers, institutional investors – on strategy and sustainability.
Adrian holds a Master in Business Management from EDHEC Business School.
Thatyanne is a Director for Green & Sustainable Financing Solutions at Natixis, responsible for assisting issuers and borrowers in accessing the dynamic Sustainable Finance market across the Americas. She was previously the Associate Director for Regions and Acting Director for Market Development at the Climate Bonds Initiative, where she managed the regional programs for Latin America, ASEAN and China, while promoting sustainable finance markets globally. She led CBI’s activities to drive the development of green finance markets across the different regions, while also being responsible for implementing technical assistance and consulting for public and private clients (i.e. national governments, supranational entities, DFIs and corporates). Thatyanne joined CBI after nearly 10 years working for the UK’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office in Brazil, where she was the Climate Change Attaché. Thatyanne brings 15 years of experience on climate and sustainability issues and has worked on a number of policy areas and technical cooperation projects, including forestry, agriculture, energy, green finance market development and international climate negotiations. She holds an MSc in Environmental Policy and Regulation from the London School of Economics.
Anne-Louise Quairet has been appointed as cross-asset originator in Natixis Green & Sustainable Hub in 2019. Since November 2020, she is based in Montreal, CA. She focuses on the origination and structuring of green & sustainable financing solutions for Natixis CIB clients in Americas.
Prior to joining Natixis, Anne-Louise was an investment analyst in various impact investments funds including Danone Communities and Inco.
She holds a Master degree in Banking & Finance from University Paris Dauphine.
Olivier joined the Green & Sustainable Hub as senior cross-asset originator in October 2020 and has been appointed Head of Green & Sustainable Hub, Asia Pacific on July 2021.
Olivier brings 20 years of expertise in advising & financing clients in the Energy & Metals commodity sectors built in EMEA and Asia Pacific. After few years in corporate banking within Natixis Shanghai branch, Olivier joined our Energy & Natural Resources franchise in 2004 in Paris and Hong Kong where he specialized in commodity structured & trade finance accompanying EMEA clients until 2010 and APAC clients until 2016.
More recently, Olivier was acting as senior banker advising and financing large commodity trading houses in the Energy & Metals sectors.
Olivier holds a Master’s degree in Management, majoring in Corporate Finance from Neoma Business School.
Maeva joined Natixis Green & Sustainable Hub in 2019. After two years in Paris offices, in October 2021 she was appointed as cross-asset originator for the Asia Pacific region and is now located in Hong Kong. She focuses on the origination and structuring of green & sustainable financing solutions for Natixis CIB clients in Asia. Aside from her experience at Natixis, Maeva also worked at Amundi AM, where she assisted the Employee Savings and Retirement portfolio managers in the building and management of Socially Responsible Funds.
She holds a Master degree in Management, Majoring in Corporate and Sustainable Finance from Grenoble Ecole de Management.
Xing Lan Joined Green & Sustainable Hub, Asia Pacific, in August 2021.
Xing has significant experience as a sustainability practitioner, having focused on sustainable finance advisory, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) reporting, carbon management, climate intelligence and corporate sustainability strategies in her previous roles. Prior to joining Natixis, she had been providing sustainable consultancy services to clients in Hong Kong, Singapore and Mainland China since 2013. She started her career as a research associate in Hong Kong Polytechnic University, with a focus on the life cycle assessment approach and product-level carbon accounting.
Xing has a Master of Science in Environmental Measurement and Assessment from Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden.
Karim Arslan brings with him over 10 years of experience working in investment banking and life insurance. He joined Natixis Dubai branch in January 2022.
He previously worked at the London based Green Finance Institute where he led programs and initiatives bringing together groups of experts from the public and private sectors, academia and civil society to co-create new financial facilities and mechanisms to address the climate change.
Prior to joining the institute, Karim spent seven years at Barclays Investment Bank as a fixed income trader. He led the bank’s effort to set up and manage the more than GBP 4bn green bond portfolio. Karim was also a key member of the Barclays Green Banking Council, which developed and launched multiple first-to-market green products.
Karim also spent four years at AXA Life Invest in Paris and Singapore as a cross assets derivatives trader.
A fluent Arabic and French speaker, Karim holds an MSC in Finance from Paris-Dauphine University and an MSc in Econometrics from the Sorbonne University in Paris.
Bruce brings over 30 years of experience in Debt Capital Markets, where he has worked predominantly in fixed income sales and trading.
Bruce joined the Natixis Americas credit sales team in 2015, covering investors with a focus on emerging markets, high yield and structured credit. In 2019, he joined the Americas Credit Capital Markets Syndicate team, with responsibility for EM and HY and joined the Green & Sustainable Syndicate Hub in March 2021. Bruce is an original Americas Green Captain working to promote the Green and Sustainable Hub platform and improve issuer and investor engagement with Natixis in ESG.
Bruce holds a B.A.Sc. degree in Finance from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
Béatrice joined the Green & Sustainable Hub as an ESG Investment Specialist within the Green and Sustainable Sysndicate team in January 2023.
Béatrice previously worked at BNP Paribas Asset Management within the Product Strategy team where she was responsible for the development of the SRI (Socially Responsible Investment) offer and sustainable investment advisory. Béatrice brings over 25 years of expertise in asset management and sustainable finance development (ESG integration in investment strategies, implementation of French and European regulations, sustainable labelling strategy, etc.)
Béatrice holds a Master in Management from ICN Business School in Finance.
Laurene has joined Natixis’ Green and Sustainable hub in September 2022 to be in charge of sustainable finance policy and regulation-related matters.
Over the last six years, she has focused on supporting the development of sustainable finance policies and regulations, especially at the European level and in France, coordinating the policy and advocacy work of Mirova (affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers, fully dedicated to sustainable investment). She followed more particularly the developments of EU regulations on sustainable finance related to sustainable disclosures, taxonomy, sustainable investment labels, blended finance, also as a board member of EUROSIF and more recently as a member of the EFRAG Technical Expert Group (TEG) on European Sustainability Reporting Standards.
Laurene has a 15-year professional experience on sustainability and risks management, working previously for various organizations both in the private sector (Veolia) and for public organizations and authorities at the international, European and local levels. She graduated from Sciences-Po Paris.
Gratien Davasse joined the Center of Expertise and Innovation in September 2021. He was an intern within Natixis Green & Sustainable Hub back in 2019. At that time, he notably worked on the Green Weighting Factor, the Transition Tightrope Series, and the structuration of Mexico’s SDG Bond Framework. In 2020, he gained experience on natural capital finance during an internship at Mirova’s Land Degradation Neutrality Fund. In his current role, he will be focusing on biodiversity-related topics, climate change adaptation and SDG finance alignment. He joined the team to reinforce our advisory services, especially with regards to impact reporting and the design of integrity/greenwashing safeguards for our clients.
Gratien completed an international curriculum between EDHEC in France, Sungkyunkwan GSB in South Korea and the University of California Berkeley in the USA. He holds two masters in Management and a diploma in Global economic Transformation and Technology.
Sandra Fraim has over 18 years of experience in the Capital market and Asset management industries.
She has been in charge of various missions in Natixis since 2006, firstly as a project manager for the Natixis Asset Management Fund Management, SRI research and organization divisions and then as a senior consultant within the CIB internal consulting division, leading projects and transformation streams, part of the implementation of 2011-2016 Strategic Plan.
Sandra then evolved as a business manager for the Investment Banking new division. She joined the Green & Sustainable Hub in September 2019, to support its business growth, coordinate its transversal initiatives and ensure the full integration and monitoring of its global and cross asset activities within Natixis CIB.
Sandra holds a master of Science in Physiology & Computer Science Engineering (Université de Poitiers) and a master of Finance (IAE Paris).
Louis Fachon brings 16 years of expertise in Corporate & Investment Banking and Consulting. He joined Natixis CIB Green and Sustainable Hub in May 2022 as Program Director for the Green Weighting Factor (GWF).
In this role Louis is responsible for developing the GWF methodology, setting up and monitoring the climate and color trajectories for the CIB.
Louis most recently served as Project Director with Natixis CIB Organization and Transformation department, both in Paris and London, where he was in charge of leading major transformation and organization projects for the bank, at the global level.
Prior to joining Natixis in 2017, Louis spent 8 years with Bartle Consulting where he held leadership roles, accompanying leading players in various industries in their transformation projects.
Previously, he was part of Societe Generale M&A team and started his career at Credit Agricole CIB on Global Markets activities.
Louis holds an MSc degree in Finance from Audencia business school and is fluent in French, English and Spanish.
Nicolas Ecolivet has over 20 years of experience in Corporate and Investment Banking and in Finance.
He started his career as Business Analyst on Capital Markets in CA-CIB, before moving to the Fixed Income team to work as a market maker on covered bonds. Then, he worked for Reuters as a financial engineer to develop product line in credit derivatives and mortgage products, reinforcing his expertise in financial products.
He joined Natixis in 2005 where he had the opportunity to manage several major transversal projects for the CIB and in 2014, he moved to the Finance Department to lead structural regulatory projects.
In October 2022, Nicolas joined the Green & Sustainable Hub as Business Manager to support its business growth, coordinate transversal projects and monitor the full integration of its global and cross asset activities within Natixis CIB.
Nicolas holds a Master in Economics (Rouen university), a Master of Science in finance (SKEMA) and professional certificates in Financial Analysis (SFAF) and Assets Liabilities Management (ENSAE).
