Orith Azoulay has been working in SRI/ESG since 2002. She joined Natixis in 2008 to create and lead its SRI sell-side Research team, and since 2017, created and leading the Green and Sustainable Finance Hub.
As an analyst, Orith’s sectors of specialty have historically been energy, utilities, real estate - building materials & construction, but also carbon/climate related topics. She is also Natixis’ expert on green bonds.
Prior to joining Natixis, Orith was a senior SRI analyst at Groupama Asset Management from 2003 to 2008, where she created and led their SRI practice. She also worked for the ORSE, a French think tank for Corporate Social Responsibility, where she was a research analyst. Orith started her career as an equity analyst at JP Morgan Chase in London.
Orith graduated from ESCP Europe in 2000 (Diplome Grande Ecole, Diplom Kaufmann).
Julien Duquenne, senior cross asset originator, with 20 years of experience in banking & finance with several positions in structured asset finance & public development aid. Various international assignments in APAC (Singapore, Hong Kong & Vietnam) & EMEA (Paris, Morocco) with extended practice from origination to distribution of credit transactions, corporate and asset based, mainly Real Estate, Project Finance, Shipping & Offshore Finance.
Julien joined at its inception the Green & Sustainable Hub to expand internally the project and focus on co-originate, structure, distribute credit products (bonds, loans, cross-assets) with all CIB teams involved. Julien hold several degrees from the University of Paris Dauphine & EMLYON Business School (France).
Thomas Garnier is a Sustainable Finance specialist in charge of advising Natixis CIB Clients and originating & structuring Sustainable Finance solutions for EMEA across a wide variety of green, social & sustainability themed opportunities in close partnership with Natixis CIB’s Investment Banking teams.
Prior to joining the Green & Sustainable Hub at its inception Thomas was part of Natixis MTN trading desk and sell-side analyst dedicated to Green Bond Market Research within Natixis CIB’s EMEA Global Markets activities. Previously Thomas held various finance positions including as part of AXA Cash Management activities and Exane Financial Engineering teams.
Thomas holds a Master in the field of Corporate Finance & Financial Engineering.
Laurie Chesné brings 10 years of experience in sustainability (ESG) advisory and analysis, with a focus on environmental issues and sustainable finance. Laurie previously worked for Vigeo Eiris, where she held the position of Head of Green and Social Bonds and Senior Sustainability Consultant. She was previously a specialized consultant in energy & climate and eco-design issues.
Laurie has been appointed as a cross-asset originator in Corporate & Investment Banking’s Green & Sustainable Hub. She acts in an advisory structuring capacity for all green and sustainable financing and advisory solutions provided to CIB’s EMEA clients.
Laurie is a qualified chemical engineer, specialized in Environmental and Sustainability Management, from the Ecole Supérieure de Chimie Organique et Minérale (ESCOM).
Anne-Claire Lejeune has been appointed as a cross-asset originator in the Green & Sustainable Hub where she focuses on the origination and structuration of green & sustainable financing solutions for the Corporate and Investment Banking clients.
Prior to joining the Green & Sustainable Hub, Anne-Claire was the Green Captain of the Natixis Corporate Portfolio Management’s department. Beyond her 3 years’ experience as a credit analyst and portfolio manager, she acted as an ambassador for green, social and sustainability opportunities for the Coverage.
Anne-Claire joined Natixis in 2014 in the CIB EMEA Platform’s business management team. She holds a degree in Corporate Finance from Neoma Business School and studied at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology as an exchange student.
At Natixis, I lead our sustainable finance activities for the Asia Pacific market, developing strategies that leverage the emerging Asian capital market for climate change solutions. Furthermore, I promote investment in projects and assets which are critical to accelerate the transition to a sustainable economy.
My responsibilities also include identifying sustainable financing opportunities for international clients across all sectors and products. Together with our clients, I develop innovative green financing solutions that meet their needs and ambitions. As a member of the Green Bond Principle working groups, I make sure these solutions are based on the latest international standards & academic insights.
Through my 10 years of international experience in the financial industry, I bring in a wealth of green financing structuring knowledge. My drive is to contribute to challenges that Financial Institutions and Corporates face in the transition towards a sustainable future. Among the more than 70 transactions I conducted are: DBS, China Construction Bank, China Development Bank, ITOCHU, Anglian Water, LBBW, Barry Callebaut, Vodafone, ICO, Kingdom of Belgium, Raiffeisen Bank International, ING Groep N.V. etc.
I am proud of taking the lead on successful transactions and of my international working experience across the globe. In my spare time, I love to do citytrips, kickboxing, and spending time with family and friends.
Robert White is responsible for promoting Natixis’ Green & Sustainable financing and investment solutions for the Americas platform. He works closely with local business lines to assist issuers, borrowers, and investors access the growing and evolving world of green and sustainable finance. Robert works actively, along with the rest of Natixis’ Global Green and Sustainable Hub, to enhance Natixis visibility and brand as an expert go-to bank for green & sustainable finance.
Robert brings over 10 years of experience in financial advisory, banking and project finance, with a focus on environmental and sustainable finance. He joined Natixis from National Australia Bank, where he held the position of Director, Specialized Finance, as well as various other roles during his 14-year tenure at the bank.
Robert holds a BSc in Biological Sciences & Psychology from the University of Edinburgh.
Cédric Merle joined Natixis in 2017 as SRI sell-side analyst. He now works within the Center of Expertise which is the innovation arm of Natixis Green & Sustainable Hub (CIB). In 2018, he authored the first flagship report of the Center of Expertise titled “Solving Sustainable Development Goals Rubik’s Cube: An impact-based toolkit for issuers and investors”. He also published on the subject: “Greening the Belt & Road Initiative”, and currently focuses his work on the “transitioning of brown industries”.
In 2017, he lectured at Ecole Polytechnique on China’s Energy Transition and Climate Change Action. Prior to that, he served as “Deputy Head of international Financial System and Summits Preparation Office” (G20, G7, OECD) at the French Treasury (Ministry for the Economy and Finance). He was member of the inter-ministerial taskforce on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
He is a graduate from Sciences Po (Master Public Affairs) and HEC Paris (Master of Science Sustainable Development & Social). He is also PhD candidate in Political Sciences at the University Paris II Panthéon Assas.
Dominique Blanc has been appointed as an expert in Corporate & Investment Banking’s Green & Sustainable Hub. Member of GSH’s Center of Expertise, he works on thematic research and the development of innovative methodologies to support products and strengthen the expertise and integrity critical to sustainable finance. He also works on regulatory monitoring and contributes to the implementation of the Green Weighting Factor.
Dominique has dedicated 15 years of his career to sustainable finance. In 2004 he co-founded, EthiFinance, an independent non-financial rating agency, where he worked as an ESG analyst.
Since 2008, he has managed Novethic’s research – a subsidiary of Caisse des Dépôts dedicated to sustainability – where he developed green and sustainable finance market watch, green funds and SRI products certification and research study activities, as well as responsible investors’ networks.
Dominique holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Art & Métiers ParisTech.
Thomas Girard has a cumulated experience of over 15 years in wealth management (family office and private banking), sustainable finance and responsible investing (corporate and investment banking).
He joined Natixis GSH in 2018 as Product Specialist responsible for the Business Development towards investors. Previously, Thomas was a Senior ESG Analyst (2011-2017) specialised on the banking sector and Natixis SRI Research team’s representative in London (2014-2017). He also worked at MSCI ESG Research as a Consultant, and at ORSE (a French study centre on CSR) as a Project Manager.
Thomas holds two Masters (Business Law, Finance & Control) and a MBA (Management & Sustainable Performance).
Hong My Nguyen is a Sustainable Investment solutions specialist, part of the Natixis CIB’s Green and Sustainable Hub. She is in charge of designing and structuring green investment products in partnership with Natixis CIB’s financial engineering teams.
Prior to joining the team, Hong My was a senior fixed-income strategist, covering credit markets. She was also expert on green bonds and ESG strategies. She was ranked N°1 Green Bond/ESG research and N°1 Credit strategy at the 2018 Euromoney Fixed-income Survey.

Sandra Fraim has over 18 years of experience in the Capital market and Asset management industries.
She has been in charge of various missions in Natixis since 2006, firstly as a project manager for the Natixis Asset Management Fund Management, SRI research and organization divisions and then as a senior consultant within the CIB internal consulting division, leading projects and transformation streams, part of the implementation of 2011-2016 Strategic Plan.
Sandra then evolved as a business manager for the Investment Banking new division. She joined the Green & Sustainable Hub in September 2019, to support its business growth, coordinate its transversal initiatives and ensure the full integration and monitoring of its global and cross asset activities within Natixis CIB.
Sandra holds a master of Science in Physiology & Computer Science Engineering (Université de Poitiers) and a master of Finance (IAE Paris).
